Description

The Oyster Reef Golf Club opened in 1982 and was immediately recognized as one of the "Top 25 new courses in America". This Rees Jones design has been voted one of the "Top 20 Courses in the Carolinas" and enjoys a reputation as a favorite among Hilton Head Island golfers. Carved out of 190 acres of breathtaking low country terrain, Oyster Reef Golf Club's spectacular 18-hole championship layout winds the golfer around lagoons, lush vegetation, and scenic views of the inlet to Port Royal Sounds, including the signature Par 3, # 6, which is one of the most recognized and photographed golf holes on Hilton Head Island looking out over the Port Royal Sound.

Driving Directions

Travel on William Hilton Parkway (Hwy 278 Business) to Whooping Crane Way (between mile markers 3 and 4) and Turn into Hilton Head Plantation entrance. At guardhouse, request a pass for Oyster Reef Golf Club. Proceed to High Bluff Road and turn Right. The Club entrance will be on your Right.

Hilton Head Airport is 10 minutes away and Savannah International is 45 minutes.

We have an array of suggested banquet menus or we will custom design a menu for you.

As part of The Heritage Collection on Hilton Head island, we work with our sister-clubs on the island to help ensure yours is an event to remember. Oyster Reef Golf Cub has the ideal facilities to host small gatherings, but for larger banquets, weddings and events, please select from one of our sister Heritage Collection properties.
