Clark's Inn & Restaurant in Santee, SC is Now Open

WE ARE OPEN!
We sincerely hope that you are doing as well as possible under these very stressful and unusual times. As our much-appreciated guests in the past, we want to you know that we are now open-and we invite you to spend the night and dine with us and perhaps stay a while!
As you know, all of our guest rooms open to exterior porches, so there is a lot of air circulation and you can get to your car or the restaurant without traversing any enclosed public area. Open-air landscaped seating areas, tables and chairs, rocking chairs, and sofas and chairs under covered porches are scattered throughout the property. Guests enjoy relaxing outside after a day in the car!

Our beautiful garden pool will soon be opened and operated within state guidelines. Our housekeepers at the Inn are giving even more attention to our already spotless rooms. Housekeeping includes using hospital-grade disinfectant products with more consideration given to cleaning doorknobs, light switches, air conditioning controls, lamp switches, television remotes, hairdryers and all hard surface tops.

Reopening the restaurant has been a gradual process-but we are happy to report that Clark's now offers outside dining in the courtyard as well as inside dining. Utilizing the courtyard has been one of the positive results of this very trying time. Our guests seem to be enjoying the added experience!

We have introduced a new menu that still features some of our most favorite dishes. It is imperative to us that Clark's delivers the same food, service, and ambiance for which we are known.

Our staff is back and negotiating the "new normal" while at the same time making sure that every effort is made to ensure your safety and enjoyment. We are conscientiously adhering to all state and federal regulations and guidelines. You will find that our dining rooms contain far fewer tables and chairs than you are accustomed to seeing. We at Clark's want to assure you that you can easily practice social distancing measures while on our property.

The nature of Santee-being rural with a small population base and having multiple outdoor recreational choices-is a perfect vacation spot! Not only do we have the largest lake system in the state for fishing and water recreation, we have three golf courses within a half-mile of our Inn. Our staff is happy to assist you with booking a golf or fishing package.

Santee State Park offers numerous hiking and biking trails.
